The times I've been the better snow has been on the Goryu side. Are these places owned by the same company?

The further north you are, the better it will be. You'll be near Minakami, the other places to the east of Gunma, and Yuzawa/Niigata. Great place to be I reckon.

Dan, you might be surprised at the costs here in Japan. I find that you can get some real deals. I think there was another thread on here a month or two back about it. Best time is around mid Feb when they start all the 70% discount madness!

I kinda like The Chin, but despair at the way the sport seems to go more boring each year. And to think I thought this year would be tight at the top. Still holding out a little hope for that.
