  1. the ones that wear the nice big boots and sit in a mini mini skirt opposite you on the train creating breath taking views....
  2. Cheesy, Rather a big chunk of Camembert and a bottle of good south aussie red myself.... actually cheese is in the fridge and red is airing as we speak... Jesus loves cheese too....
  3. Xmas doesnt feel real here coz its too frikkin cold! Having said that launching off a huge kicker pulling off a nice 540 grab definately felt like Xmas!
  4. Seems that everyone here complaining about the snow needs to stop and think about past seasons. Now as far as i can remember almost every year (for the past 5-6 seasons) its has gotten cold and snowed a heap all of a sudden, thus everyone gets excited about a killer season and then...... December! December is usually the biggest dud of a month for snow that I can remember especially in the Ontake, Hakuba, gifu, Niigata resorts.(except my hokkaido trips) A couple of years ago (99/00) it was way warm until 2 weeks after new years, so much so that I went SURFING!.. (after that it didnt

  7. Possible reason for liking Niseko could be that it is far from my usual weekend haunts and feels like more of a holiday.. As for Japanese feel if you want that why dont you go stay in a ryoukan near fuji and sit in an onsen and take in the breathtaking views? I have been to niseko a few times with my J-wife, we had a great time , stayed in a little japanese ryokan, ate japanese food everyday etc etc. but it seemed like japan to me. we didnt go out and party, just boarded for 5 days straight from am-pm saw a few gaijin, but most that i spoke to we either from the states or UK. being
  8. Markie, without offending anyone, its where you from came! jesus loves U too Markie...he told me.
  9. Yabuhara is closed off on their top runs to boarders. Makes my blood boil as they are the best runs. I choose simply not to go to the place. unless we got a discount for not being able to use the full course. As with everything it doesn't seem to phase the Japanese and if it did the would never ever think about complaining about it! as for boarders being dangarous, that would have to be a case by case situation, skiiers are also dangerous, just look at the p$%cks who want to do massive 90 degree turns all the way down the mountain! thats a joke!
  10. Llaming rupert, Like the ocean says "140 no probs".. Me 180 with 6 boards on still no probs.... gotta love those super long tunnells with no speed cameras! use ya head!
  11. me am from OZ I call home 1. Phillip Island (with my furrrry little friends) 2. Bali 3. Nagoya (choice my not!) sorry me no so good english!
  12. I was (and still am putting off) getting my japanese licence due to the chance of actually being fined for speeding fines. Last year I was flashed and busted on those awsonly clear cameras(wouldn't let me keep the pic!) @ that time my Int licence had expired and made a bs story about it expiring just after the pic was taken and was sent back to get a new one! They threatened to check up on interpol, I just laughed and said go for it! 14mnths later and i havent recieved the fine yet....? But due to insurance concerns i think I will get it now, especially with my wife (and kiddy on the way) to

I have gone out and gotten the rights to all the following "Niseko in the mornings Niseko at lunch Niseko's WCs Curry in Niseko The air at Niseko Niseko people? Niseko's name whats it mean G'day mate Niseko I love Niseko" these are going to be killer tshirt messages! will be on sale soon!
  15. good idea my a ss! if I wanted to be a skiier I would have bought skis! not a board! I will stick to boarding..
  16. Being a Gaijin here of course there's gotta be some kind of customs that you just can't get used to! Weddings do my head in here! The amount that I must fork out (3man for me or 5man with wife) kills me! I have been invited to 11 weddings this year!! thats a total of 550,000 yen if i went to all of them! Some are for friends (not really close) and others were for aquaintances... My wife can't believe that I get asked to so many! I think its the "look at my gaijin friend status!" Call me a kechi bastard if you will but I dont even give that much as a present to my own family whom i lov
  17. NEVER EVER TEACH YOUR WIFE/GIRLFRIEND/BOYFRIEND!!! It doesn't work!! I have unsuccessfully tried many times to teach girlfriends and my wife how to surf / bodyboard and snowboard! Save your money and huge relationship breaking arguement and stick her in a snow school for the morning to be taught by professionals... that she wont get mad at and yell at! if you do it you are a brave man......
