Jigatake! I thought no one goes there. Glad you had a good time. If you carry on that road you will hit the center of Kashimayari Ski Area - which is quite a large resort.

Actually it is missing snowboarder on Happo. He went off from Usagi daira (top gondola) down the south face with a friend. His friend saw him crash, but thought he would be ok and waited at the bottom for him. This was on Thursday. On Friday the top lifts were closed for a few hours to search for him. I think the official search is called off.

The lifts at Happo were closed this afternoon to search for missing persons. Not too sure of all the details but will ask and post details

light snow - mild temps

I wax 3 times a week. Usually 2 or 3 skis at a time. I sharpen the edges once a week. Ski wax is so overpriced and that is with a big discount. One important tip - keep the iron moving at all times!

The slalom was good to watch. Lots of DNF in the race. How crowded was it in Wegen? Have fun in Chamonix.

Haha! I actually saw you on Happo on Sunday. You were waiting at the bottom of the Panorma /ladies downhill slope. After you skied away - I thought I had seen you before somwhere. The yellow backpack triggered my memory. I was out with my daughter and wife.
