  1. My Pajero this morning, I removed snow on the roof at 15:00 yesterday and got that much again at 9:00 this morning..... in a 18 hours. My buddy da snowblowerII is loading. Da da da da da da da da da da da da da da......
  2. Yep, it really seems like that. Well, have to play with my snowblower today as well!
  3. dizzy, roughly every 3 hours. It really seems to depend on temperture and how strong wind blows. So usually I make fire around 17:00 then replace them around 20:00.
  4. I hope I will still have that challenge mind when I turn 75. Yelling!
  5. The rental shop master I have contract with says they have some 31cms boots both for skiing and snoboarding. But if it were 31.5cms or bigger, hard to find.
  6. Not fun if i only kept removing snow so digged some holes to put candles in like as last season.

  8. I am advised that I should control less than 1860Kcals a day for my diet which is cruel!!! So I always feel hungry.
  9. Hummm Thunderpants, exactly we are getting tons of snow, but I feel it is not much colder than usual here though... maybe too much colder than usual in some other area?
  10. Cewpitt, I think it's 15 minutes at the most on a busy new years day as far as lifts are nicely in service. So let's say less than 10 minutes on weekends, a couple of minutes on weekdays.

I think they do, lift passes depend on the ski slopes, you can check each and every pass price in the resort section page in this site e.g. http://www.snowjapan.com/e/resorts/resortdetail.php?resid=14
  12. I am not explaining that the sushi dish will never be a pair of geta later. What i am saying is that we don't wear the sushi dish as our footgear after we complete the meal there. Yes I understand that is for laugh. But at the same time felt kinda humiliation as I worked part time for a sushi restaurant in my uni days.
  13. Bleh...sorry to hear that Kumapix. You should have been careful to hear others' advice.
  14. lol I don't think it's a manner to put your fingers at the third break of a sushi shop Noren. The sushi dish never be a pair of geta later!!! Maybe good for a laugh though.
  15. Got it yama. Whoah, some are very tricky lol I'm okay, done all Wish I could do that good in English
  16. When I can not have enough time to sleep I agree with you sakebomb, you should collect deposits at the time of ordering. Nicole, ask them what is the cellular phones for?
  17. If you try Goryu,Iimori area has some kids parks, I think Happo also provides something like that? But while your children are 8 and 11 years old, I think you don't need to worry about it too much. A 8 years old child does much better than parents expect.
  18. Yeah, definately better than less snow. It's exercise everyday for me shovelling snow.... Everyweek i hear "big snow" notice and it comes. Made some holes at some snow igloo to put candles and lamps in!
  19. Quote: I try to avoid blue, the male default Male default? Quote: why male winter coulours need to be dark I have no idea why. In my university days at least students wore some clear color, not dark grey like "old salarymen". Especially when you walk outside at night, those dark color clothes are harder to find from drivers. Also in snowy place like my place, dark colors are the opposite from snow which is how most living things (e.g. trees from distnaces )look like that disnables people to recognize them in forests.
  20. Uhh...Sanjo, hard to explain that "clear". Maybe "lively", "fresh"? "Azayakana" in Japanese. I think there's "clear" color and "dull" color. Even RED has some variations? Some red look like really clear-lively-fresh feeling but some dull red just look like sunset of life. Quote: And please tell us - why do 98% of older Japanese people all wear very dull grey/brown?? This is what I never want to be. I think because such color clothes are easy to find and people might think they should wear them when they get older? Though we get older and older day by day which is
  21. Does anyone know any online clothe shops which have some clear color clothes for me? Tried some web searches but can not find any good for what I am looking for. I can find any "oyajikusai" color such as grey, black and any dark color like that etc which are not I am looking for. Not talking about Sweden flag but I've found clothes in blue and/or yellow color are really hard to find. As some of posters here who have already met me in person know that I am not exactly "small" as a J-man, so if it's Japanese size, preferably LL, XL etc. Some L size shirt don't cover my belly good ,
  22. Go to Control pannel >>>> Options for date, time, regions and languages>>>> Changing format for number, date, time>>> at the region and language option dialog box, choose your language and see how time format there looks like, maybe it's like 23:, not like 23:15?? My PCs are all on J-OS, so maybe description above are different though.
