  1. You need to ask where to go at the office for it. If your car had HIDA number board, probably you need to ask it at: ナンバープレート表示文字『飛騨』 〒506-0035 高山市新宮町830番地の5 TEL 0577-36-1221 FAX 0577-36-1223 管轄地域 高山市、下呂市、飛騨市、大野郡

  3. I grow some vegitables and herbs. Herbs Lavender, Rosemary, Chives, Oregano, Thyme, Charbill, Basil, Sparemint, Peppermint. Vegis Tomato, Egg plant, Onion, Garlic, Beans, Charlottes, Green pepper, Potatoe Blueberry (not vegi!! ). When you try garlic, some books advice not to put them where you had put lilies at least for 2-3 years. Put them in August and harvest in May or June next year. Garlic needs time to grow. When you put garlic, you need to put some fertilizer and in Spring as well. Don't worry about giving water. Just rainfall works. Basil - you h
  4. I was very excited to watch the Men's free style crosscountry skiing 50kms. Until the final track, still over 20 players were in a top group. When someone 37 years old (they said) made a last spurt soon before getting in the track - a Russian or an Austrian player , I forgot everything and excited the most coz he had never got the top in the race. Younger players like Pirrel-Cottorel(ita), Sedelgren (swe) etc sometimes got the top though. Congrats on Dicenta! Very excited after a long interval. Actually could not have enough time to watch any competitions but noticed it was the last

  6. Oh Cheese on top of ramen!?!?!? Interesting combination. Have to try it next time I cook ramen!
  7. I love mokuzo, bushpig! I relly love to visit old wooden school houses etc. Getting hard to find though.
  8. Takayama is located close to Shirakawa-go which is one of world heritage with its straw roofed traditional old houses. Japan-guide.com could help you, maybe?
  9. Indosnm Whenever I hear any crack noise, I ask them to change the timing belts. I don't think it like every ** months or years thing. I always feel we happen to drive cars safe. If any accidents or troubles at your car, it's easy for you to get in panic if it's out of your control. Think about it - we drive an massive iron more than 1 ton. Accidents could happen anytime. Perhaps I am too nervous and careful but better than careless.
  10. I'm right handed, write everything by my right hand, grab a pair of chopsticks by my right but interesting though I turn right better than left when I ski. When I turn right, my left leg works, right? This kind of things sometimes happen when I do something outdoor. So, sometimes I wonder if I were a left handed indeed?
  11. Didn't know Sendai doesn't have good ramen, Kintaro. I hear there are so many ramen restaurants in Sendai. Maybe you just have not found any favorite one, Kintaro? Or perhaps too many competitions going on which is almost like a battle - This sometimes kills the industry.
  12. Miso, can you take me to the party introducing me as your bro saying "Hey this is da Hakuba oyaji club meister Gams my bro with a same round belly" so that I can participate in!?
  13. I also turn the heater off when I sleep. I can not sleep with a heater on and dry air. I thought it was because I used to temperture here. Japanese people from cities say it cold here, so I thought it was a "Must" for me to heat all the rooms up enough. Miso - humidifiers= kashitsuki ? (a machine provides humidity ) snowglider - I agree. Night bus is terrible even to me. Too hot and tight-no room around your feet. I sometimes got on a night bus when I was young but no more now. When Japanese people get in a same room with foreign people, they always catch a cold next morning s
  14. What is the comfortable room temperture for you to sleep? I set our central heating system to warm up rooms around 20 - 22 C when it works. I find a lot often heaters in the rooms turned off if they are rooms which foreign people get in! Is 20 - 22C too hot for you to sleep? But if you turned the heater off, don't you feel it brrrrr cold?
  15. Goemon, what kind of powder?? I love miso ramen with enough negi and corn, wakame, chashu, memma! But if it's with too oily tonkotsu soup, a bit tough for me.
  16. Quote: Originally posted by Indosnm: Gam, I said 160 isn't bad if you were paying car tax too. How often do they find something wrong with your car at shaken time??? I always ask them to check everything very carefully and ask them to replace whatever comes wrong - brake pads, timing belts. There always seems some tiny things need to be replaced. Actually it costs some, sometimes more than 100,000 yen extra depends on what. But cheaper than my life, so can not complain.
  17. LOL muikabochi, ask them directly then instead of teasing an old man!
  18. Then if a person does both ( posting comments on a website and making a website - like me!), how should s/he do? Back to topic, I didn't know Roger Moore acted Bond. Too ignorant? I knew Connery and Dalton though. My parents told me about Connery had acted Bond and I watched a Bond movie in which Dalton did in my uni days.
  19. I think they all expected a medal coz Japan had not gotten any in Torino and it was expected.
  20. Hum.. didn't know that, muikabochi. Perhaps I guess quad lifts have bigger chairs than smaller ones. So what if it snows hard at night? A cable for quad lift could get a lot more extra weight than other cables because chairs for quad lifts could get more snow than others....? With an old man's brain, at this moment this is only one which poped up.
  21. I'm sure that was the longest 4 minutes in your life, Soubriquet.
