I have been looking for it here (kutchan) but not seen yet There are alot of different varieties to chose from at supermarket, I might be looking straight at it and not know.

Dubai ! For the novelty of snowboarding in the desert and all the touristy extras eg driving a race car. (I know you can do it here but it looks so much better there) But as it can be a stop over on the way to Europe. Not sure where there yet but maybe Chechoslovakia (need spell check for that one) or far north, somewhere in Sweden/ Norway. Maybe next year but very hard to be swayed from more Japan. -

Look forward to hearing your report too Paul. Very confident it will be awesome !! Thanks for info Mike. All I have to do know is find a few new boarding buds who are keen but no biggie if it doesnt happen, mulling over a few other ideas and been checking the snow reports -
Anyone know Niseko Snow Cats?

Hey MikePow I have been viewing the thread on Weiss Cat tours and have come to the conclusion that it may be a bit of a dissapointment. The impression I get from the Weiss thread is it would be shelling out big dollars for flattish terrain. I am no pro but like a bit of challenge and like everyone search for untracked powder (I suppose thats my motivation for wanting to explore the luxury of cat tours) and willing to shell out my hard earn dollars if I know I am going to come home with a smile on my dial. Have you or if anyone has any more details or experienced the Niseko Snow cats firs -
Beer 2012 - lol - Beer is good - Japanese beer is good. Only really tried the big name stuff - Asahi and Kirin but now keen to try others so I can give some informative feed back. Keen to try aki - aji to see if it lives up to the hype & others. Thanks - advice on beer is always appreciated.

I wear a helmet too. It has saved my melon on a cat track in oz - of all things. They can be deadly in spring conditions due to melt, freeze, melt (shade / sun) and tracking from boards and not paying attention on my part. Caught an edge at speed and back slapped the ice - woke up 5 mins later seeing stars. No claret and live to board another day - thanks helmet. I also agree with teikiatsulover as in my case when I wear a beanies (especially in Japan - snowie conditions) my goggles constantly fog up but the problem is greatly reduced when I wear my helmet. I think it allows more air flow vi
