My dad used to do some skiing way back in Austria. Some pretty wild old gear he had, I have seen the photos. Would like to go see the museum in Nozawa actually, heard it is interesting and a good ski village to boot. -

Not in Japan, love the idea of being over there though. Thinking of doing a trip though.

I spent 2 weeks in one go this winter, half of it in Zermatt and the second part in the Jungfrau area. Wasn't happy really with the Zermatt experience this winter, timing wasn't the best but it didn't appeal generally as much as it did 15 years ago. Loved Schilthorn though.
