  1. That would seem to be a good word. I was brought up in a 'somewhat religious' household - went to church, etc. Even my parents have given up that now, quite a while back, though a few habits and residual beliefs remain, but I'm back in the world of 'normal people'.
  2. Went a while back muikabochi. Was ok, there was one small area 'the walk area' where there were a few souls caged up in cages that looked pretty small to me, but other than that I didn't see anything too disagreeable and the camels were very friendly. Interesting discount policy there.
  3. Updated: battery life is much better after a week or so and I suppose I'm not using it full on like I was at the beginning. Got to say though - really really loving this gadget
  4. Right now, not so good. But I am using it a lot at the moment learning how it all works etc, so it's not really 'normal use' right now. Reviews seem tosay the same, I suppose with so much functionality you can't expect it to last for ages. As long as it can last the day it doesn't won't bother me,.
  5. Last few days has been pretty bad. I really should move and not live so close to billions of the offending trees!
  6. Take a look at my post above (and similarly Mamabear's) to get some ideas. I'm not one of these people who areconstantly fiddling with their keitais. That drives me nuts too. I simply use the functionality I want/need to use when and where. That's all.

And they all have the time so you can do away with the need for a watch. And klingon we have computers for gaming and viewing stuff on a screen bigger than a few cm's wide do we not? Sometimes I don't want to actually speak to someone a
  8. For me: Able to access internet and email pretty much anywhere; Acts as my address/contact book; Replaces my watch; I like gadgets; Looks cool But seriously the top two.
  9. Until yesterday I hadn't chaned my mobile for years. Moving over to this Xpria is one heck of a change. Only got it yesterday but first impressions are, wow this is fun!! I might even make a few phone calls!
  10. I doubt it. Then again, I came here 'for one year' and I still am.
  11. I have a quick shower in the morning to wake me up proper and un-mash my hair, and a longer one in the evening when I get in.

Someone get some for Go Native, hey?
  13. Quote: As with many recent fashion fads, the Fake Breast Deflation began on the body of Victoria Beckham and then moved deep into Hollywood. A year after the former Spice Girl appeared to have surgery to remove her chest enlargements (despite never admitting to actually enhancing her figure), Disney has banned actresses with any kind of bogus busts from the latest Pirates of the Caribbean auditions. The filmmakers are so adamant that they want natural curves squeezed inside their notoriously rigid corsets that a “show and tell†day has also been scheduled. The boom, it seems, has finall

  15. In my 5 years or so here my thoughts have changed but generally I still love it. I try to filter out the things that annoy me and concentrate on enjoying my time here. I'm pretty sure that when I go back to my home country, I will look back on my time in Japan and realise what a fab time it was.
  16. I wona ticket for there a few months ago and went in early March. I enjoyed it. Only a small place but the snow was decent when we went and a few good courses. Company was good so that might have helped. I really want to try a few other Gunma places out next year though for ease of access on the train this one is really good. (I took a few photos but they were pretty much identical to the ones above!)
  17. Coming to Japan provoked me! I had never skied before but always wanted to. When I came here I found out it was in easy reach....
