  10. You did well Roscoe. I paid for my accomm in Myoko this week at AU73 cents. The rest of the accomm is pay on arrival so hope it does not drop too far. When the reserve bank starts talking about slowing economy & interest rate cuts that seem to drive it down. I now am thinking of buying my travelling Yen sooner rather than later. Cheers to Lynn & the Rosco-ets Yes john trying to save up for some spending $ now bit hard to do with every thing local getting dearer all the time be worth it when we get to Japan.Have some new powder ski's comming from the USA great price will read up a
  11. Its letting abit scary at the moment glad we where able to pay for most of our trip when the Aus $ was at 85 cents.I remember back in 2009 the we started planning our trip the $ was at 95 cents and by the time we got to Japan it had dropped to 52 cent's that hurt hope it wont happen again.

  13. Sorry to hear you had to put up with that crap while living there Sand.We have a stop over in Seoul next year.On the way to Japan.
  14. Gooble you will be blown a way with japan I remember the first time I went to Japan in 2007 after 2 season's at fall's & 2 at Hotham I could not belive the amount of snow. Went to Niseko with some mate's and will alway's remember the excavator with a bucket as big as a car removing snow from around the village to be trucked away. Have been going back each year scince with the family and like mamabear try to have a top up in Aus if possible only 2 day's this year though. Not wishing the year away but hurry up feb 2012.
  15. It will be interesting to see what you think about the area's compaired to where you have been before Nth island I guess. We loved the town of Nozawa best village we have been to so far ski feild good 5 day's will be enough to cover it all.Hakuba is good but we got sick of relying on the suttle bus's to get around.and town ship is very spread out.But you will have agreat time at both and get to enjoy some great japanese culture.Im taking the family to Niseko so I am interested to see what they think about the area compaired to where we have been before.
