    Strange isn't it where it falls. Here in Tokamachi we have more than you guys over the hill in Yuzawa.Minamiuonuma. Still not as much as normal, but more. Lots of 'satoyuki' this season it seems.

    How busy does it get on weekends? From what I remember, and see on your pics, that quad is more than enough to service the top there. Right side course being closed aside of course.

    I can vouch for that. I doubt many people in that valley take as many photos of it as muika!

    The left side pair lift in the bottom half of Hakkai-san is only open on weekends, which is annoying. I really think resorts should charge less weekdays if less of the resort is open.

    Well, if you are coming by train - presumably via Echigo Yuzawa - then pretty much anywhere in Yuzawa or Shiozawa is more interesting and more convenient.
