Nice snow overnight, with some pretty strong winds overnight and at times this morning.

We're still getting snowfall here in the first full week of March in Myoko (just like the way that sounds).

It snowed a little bit overnight, but it was in fact a little bit that made a lot of noise.

It looks like it wants to do something today; the clouds are high and it's bright, but those clouds are also dark.

March is coming in like January, or at least the Januarys we used to know, with more good snow, and some of the lightest snow to fall this season.

I wish I had been more forceful in my message yesterday, about the potential dangers out there after all that wind and snow....

I sort of got sidetracked in my report yesterday; I was looking at the increases in snowpack at the resorts, and forgot to go back and warn that lift closures were likely due to the wind.

It's snowing again today, thank goodness, although not a lot has fallen.

The snow started earlier than expected, but not before all the windshields in town got a good coating of ice as the rain changed to ice pellets late yesterday afternoon.
