Myoko Now: Friday 3rd January 2020
It was really sunny early this morning, but the clouds have started to move in from over Mt. Myoko.
Myoko Now: Thursday 2nd January 2020
Interesting day today for temperatures, meaning they are really inconsistent.
Myoko Now: Wednesday 1st January 2020
Happy New Year! And Happy Fresh Snow!
Myoko Now: Tuesday 31st December 2019
Things are changing very quickly as I write our report for the last day of 2019.
Myoko Now: Saturday 28th December 2019
Snow! Much needed, fun to be on yesterday, a few more lifts running and slopes open.
Myoko Now: Wednesday 25th December 2019
A quick report, because it's time to get out on the snow today!
Myoko Now: Tuesday 24th December 2019
OK, regular readers will remember I said something about things getting white around Christmas, and I am feeling just a bit smug today.
Myoko Now: Saturday 21st December 2019
It is white out there, barely. Snow started to fall in the late afternoon, but we really only got a dusting again.
Myoko Now: Friday 20th December 2019
After a sunny, mild day (ideal for finishing up the never-completed task of preparing for winter), we are right on the edge of snow at base level this morning.
Myoko Now: Friday 13th December 2019
We're still in pre-season, and it looks like it's going to stay that way for at least a while longer.
Myoko Now: Monday 9th December 2019
In these pre-season days, as I wrote once before, I always wonder about putting up snow reports when we get a tiny amount, and then we know it's going to disappear in the next few days.
Myoko Now: Saturday 30th November 2019
A bit of snow overnight, just enough to almost defeat the 2WD mini van that tried to come up the slope leading up to Akakura Kanko early this morning.
Myoko Now: Friday 29th November 2019
I am going to put in a report here, because we did get measurable snow and it should go in the record.
Myoko Now: Tuesday 12th November 2019
A bit of snow way up high! I always hesitate to write this, because people will think that the ski season is right around the corner, when in fact the corner is still pretty far away.
