New snowfall at base 15cm
Snowfall at base this season 37cm

OK, regular readers will remember I said something about things getting white around Christmas, and I am feeling just a bit smug today. It's not a huge fall out there, but there's snow covering the ground, enough that the mighty snowthrower made its first trips up and down the driveway.
And the snow continues to fall lightly (and picking up), so we'll just wait here, watch the snow, have a warm (or cool) beverage and enjoy the fact that winter can officially be said to be here (how this effects the resorts will be the interesting question over the coming days; wagering is encouraged).
