A final report from a rainy Myoko: all resorts are now officially closed and a snowy season has come to an end.

The snow is finally almost gone around the buildings here at the base of Akakan, the cherries are in bloom but there are some big pile of snow.

A quick note for the weekend, especially with some nice weather today (although tomorrow looks very blustery and wet).

Friday before the last weekend for most resorts: time for a bit of a recap on the 2024-25 season.

Early again today, but we are now in post-season mode.

Snow and fog; another very interesting day in Myoko weather.

Once again, not as much snow as the forecasts said was possible, but a nice cover of fresh snow, and increased snowpacks at most of the resorts.

Snow is coming down, not a lot yet but it looks like it will keep on going.

The snow fell pretty heavily through the day yesterday, with some fairly strong winds at times as well, but didn’t really amount to much in the end, at least at the base level.

Just a little bit of fresh snow overnight, after a pretty mild day.

Cold overnight here—it got down to nearly -9° here at the base, and was still -6° at 7am. The wind has died down, which is nice.

Good snowfall overnight, with some wind to give us some drifts and make that snow extra dense.

Pretty wild weather again today, colder with snow and some pretty strong winds from the north which should continue into tomorrow.

We got a few more centimeters of pretty dense snow through the day yesterday, along with much colder temperatures.
