Good snowfall overnight, with some wind to give us some drifts and make that snow extra dense. It is dense and sticky, too; there are lots of real, six-armed snowflake flakes coming down that really want to stick immediately on your shovel or snowblower. Not sure how that’s going to play out on the resort runs, but it can get pretty packed and hard quickly.
There still is a bit of a breeze out there, not enough to close lifts, maybe, but it is predicted to get stronger in the afternoon, with colder temperatures, too.
Then things will start to get really variable; I think we’re going to feel some early spring conditions, as well as still get some more snow. Variety; that’s what we provide you in Myoko.
I’m actually looking forward to spring and snowshoeing in the woods after the season officially closes. With this big base, we’ll have a good long season out there. Just watch out for the awakening bears...
