Snowfall at base this season 1488cm

Pretty wild weather again today, colder with snow and some pretty strong winds from the north which should continue into tomorrow.
I’m not sure when yesterday’s rain turned into snow; I could hear the tripping eves during the night, then the sounds of the wind coming around the house. There’s less than 10cm so far, but we could get some addition to the snowpack (cleanup of the dirty snowbanks?) in the coming days.
Most lifts seem to be running OK, but with these winds with strong gusts we could see some closures during the day. Seki Onsen, in fact, decided to close today, although it will reopen tomorrow.
