I was not able to get outside yesterday, but I heard of various lift disruption due to the weather conditions.

It is another day of the 2024-2025 season to be ever so thankful to Nature.

Good morning from Hakuba and Happy Chinese New Year to all who celebrate.

Well, I suppose the headline this morning has to be the 30cm of fresh snowfall that Hakuba Cortina is reporting this morning.

We had a largely cloudy day yesterday with some light snow falling on mountainsides, though it remained pretty mild generally.

A fair amount of cloud around the mountains at times yesterday, but blue sky and sunshine too.

Cloudy skies around base this morning with some very light snow in places and a few breaks in the clouds away from the mountains.

Hakuba greetings to you all. There's more snow.

Once again, I have snowfall numbers reported by ski areas of around 30-40cm this morning.

A bank of cloud and a little light snow earlier on. Some blue sky too. Less of the blue sky now and it is due to be snowing before the end of the day.

I have just a few cm to add to this report from yesterday.

As I said yesterday, we really shouldn't get complacent by all this snow being delivered to Hakuba this season, so attention please.
