It is another day of the 2024-2025 season to be ever so thankful to Nature.
Once again, Hakuba is on the receiving end of large amounts of snowy goodness.
Here is the 24 hours snowfall being reported by ski areas this morning:
Hakuba Cortina: 60cm

Hakuba Happpo-one: 40-50cm
Hakuba Iwatake: 20-30cm
Impressive, right? And apparently we will be having more before this particularly snow storm finished up.
I don't the science behind what is going on with weather patterns this season, but let's have this every year!
OK so we have tons of fresh snow again and that brings with it some other dangers.
Excite is good, but take special care out there.
Ski areas are dealing with snow early on, so there are some lift opening delays.
