After the warmth (and rain later on), we have very clearly colder conditions and a little snowfall this morning.

The clouds cleared up to some extent during the day yesterday giving us some periods of blue sky and some sunshine too.

Yesterday we went from nearly clear blue skies to gradually more cloudy conditions and some light snow starting to fall.

This morning we started with a lot of cloud but around 9am it was beautiful blue skies.

After that lovely fresh snow to play in yesterday morning, there's just a little extra to report this morning. It sounds like we can expect a modest layer out on the slopes.

It is a very good morning, too, as we have a nice amount of fresh snow.

Well, February started with some rubbish rain (booooo!), but it was snowing later on (hurray!).

Such beautiful clear blue skies yesterday!

After a cold, snowy and windy day on the mountain yesterday, it feels like it might be a clearer - and less windy - day today.

It's another cold morning when I can tell you about ski areas reporting up to 40cm of fresh snowfall.

After some blue sky during the day yesterday, the snow clouds finally did move in overnight and gave us some of their goodness.

Yesterday we did get some snow on the mountain and this morning ski areas are mostly reporting up to 10cm (Happo-one is going with 20cm at Kurobishi).

We have beautiful blue clear skies over Hakuba this morning. The mountains are, of course, looking amazing!
