Rain overnight here at town level turning into sleet and snow early morning.

I was hoping for something decent to report this morning and I suppose I do, but it's bright blue skies rather than the snowfall we were hoping for.

Almost clear blue skies early on this morning, just a bit of very thin cloud here and there giving it a lighter blue look.

Yesterday the wind was really quite strong at times and I wouldn't be surprised if there was more lift stoppages around the region than just those reported early morning.

Another rather warm day yesterday with lots of sun in the morning, though becoming increasingly overcast and hazy as the day progressed.

Those blue skies that started yesterday morning didn't last for long, with snow falling for much of the day - some clearings of clouds at times, but usually short-lived.
