14cm on snow on the top of my car this morning. It's great to see some fresh piling up again.
This morning here's what resorts that report are reporting:
Kagura - 30cm
Naeba - 15cm at base 20-30cm
Maiko Snow Resort - 20-30cm
So a fairly decent fresh layer for this Saturday morning which will have given the resorts a refresh. A bit more fresh depth would have been welcome (isn't that almost always the case!), but we'll have to make do with what we have been given.
Yesterday we ended up having some very windy conditions in places and some lift disruption as well. It's calmer this morning with just a light northerly wind at the moment.
Light snow is falling still but the forecast for the day is just cloud so there's more a chance of clearer conditions than further snow I think. It's fairly bright and even some signs of possible sunshine breaking through - looks like the sun is managing to do that over Naeba.
Slightly warmer conditions expected tomorrow again with maybe some rain late on in the day that might change to snow again. It doesn't look like we will be treated to any kind of full on winter conditions over the next week or so, maybe just smaller deliveries here and there.
