Yesterday was a cold day and wet too, though it was snowing higher up which brings me to the news of the day...

It was really trying yesterday... trying to snow.

There is no new snowfall to report I'm afraid this morning, not even up at Kagura by the looks.

The 2014-2015 season has at last come to an end.

With temperatures closing in on 30 degrees C again today in town, it's almost difficult to believe that Kagura is actually still open!

Not quite as hot over the weekend though on Saturday it kind of felt a bit humid - first time I have felt that this year.

The weather sure did co-operate over Golden Week with mostly fine clear skies and warm sunshine.

Today is the last day of the season for the GALA Yuzawa and Naeba resorts.

We enjoyed the sun for lots of the day yesterday, a bit of a wind in the afternoon and cloudier conditions later on with then rain during the night. Quite heavy at times too.

Guess what -- it's more sunshine this morning, and these conditions still expected to continue until the end of the weekend with some rain due as we enter early next week.
