Hello and it's another cold and snowy morning in Shiga Kogen.

Anyone for some powder? Very un-mid-March like quality snow to behold this morning.

Morning from Shiga Kogen where we have a bit of snow to report, about 10cm or so in places. Not bad, but we want more.

We have some fresh - but rather wet and heavy - snow from overnight to report, with up to 10cm in places too.

Very strong winds overnight with a bit of snow to show this morning.

Blackout! It seems that large areas of northern Nagano have suffered a power cut this morning, including us here in Shiga Kogen.

A strong southerly wind is with us this morning and it may well cause issues with lifts at some areas.

Last day of February. Someone pointed out to me that there's just 1 month more left with all of Shiga Kogen areas open.

Got some fresh snow this morning, about 5cm or so, and it's good and fairly cold.

Something of a wet day yesterday with either rain or wet snow falling for large parts of the day around town areas.

Started last night and a good 30cm and I am hearing maybe up to 50cm in places!

Some fresh snow overnight, at least a few cm or so and there was about 5cm on the top of my car to brush off.

This morning is a real beauty. Clear blue skies.

Superb conditions to be enjoyed yesterday but today we are in the middle of a real storm with snow and cold strong wind blowing it all around.
