Snow and wind this morning up here in Shiga Kogen.

Mild start to the day here in Shiga Kogen, but snow is falling... we're avoiding the rain that is falling at down in the valley.

After that day of snow and wind yesterday, conditions continue to be a bit stormy this morning.

Good morning, and it's a cold one. But the peak of the snow and windy conditions we had yesterday has passed and there's now blue sky over me and the sun is shining through my window.

Snow, reduced visibility and a moderate wind is what sums up this morning.

Back to normal this morning after the 3 day weekend so less people around.

A good layer of new snow overnight and it's really coming down now. Heavy snow, a bit of a wind, poor visibility.

I was out walking around earlier on it was really cold.

After a calm evening yesterday, we're back to snow and winter conditions this morning in Shiga Kogen.

Another 5+cm of snow overnight and it is still snowing lightly now.

Back to cold conditions this morning and it's generally more winter like after the 'blip' that we had yesterday.

It's not as cold this morning, though still way under zero of course.

Nice weather yesterday, snow overnight and it seems the clouds are clearing again this morning with some blue sky opening up in places and the sun shining through.

Hiding behind some of the remaining clouds at times, but it looks like things might well clear today.
