New snowfall at base 20cm
Snowfall at base this season 383cm
Posted on Tuesday 20th January 2015 This is an archived report. The latest Shiga Kogen Now report can be found here.
After that day of snow and wind yesterday, conditions continue to be a bit stormy this morning. It has given us a really good reset though and with more snow this morning conditions should be great once the skies clear a bit. Well, great now if you want to brave the current conditions!
Some lifts affected over at Yokoteyama are delayed opening because of the conditions but the weather forecast is predicting conditions to improve during the morning and those winds to calm down too.
Early start recommended tomorrow because there's a good chance of a sunny start to the day.
