New snowfall at base 5cm
Snowfall at base this season 304cm

Another 5+cm of snow overnight and it is still snowing lightly now. As we had hoped it's keeping cold and should continue now like that into next week. It's still quite windy conditions out there which is affecting a few lifts... most noticeably that I can see at Yakebitaiyama where the Gondolas and Number 2 and 3 high speed lifts are on hold early morning.

Cloud and snow showers forecast into the weekend, with a chance of more volume snow over Saturday and Sunday.

Monday is a national holiday in Japan so we are approaching one of the main peak weekends of the season.
