We’re back on with snow! Not a lot yet, but it’s coming down nicely now, and looks to keep coming more heavily for two days, at least.

Cold and sunny, although old Sol is shining through some thin clouds.

Snow! Finally, a true Myoko morning with the cars transformed into rounded mounds.

Lots of snow after a day of good solid steady fall. Not exactly champagne powder, though; it’s pretty dense and wind-affected.

The snow is back!

Not very nice days here in Myoko.

Heavy rain woke me up early this morning; luckily that stopped and we’re almost getting some sun now, but the damage is done.

Just a little more snow since yesterday; we still have some breezes this morning, although now from the west (less from the south).

Back to snow, after rain and general unpleasantness yesterday. It’s interesting to see that that resulted in more snow at some of the resorts, a reduction in the snowpack elsewhere.

Another day of winds: once again we have winds coming from the northern part of the Korean peninsula coming strong across the sea then turning left to flow along the coast, with cold winds also coming from Siberia.

Snow followed by sun; seems to be the new standard in Myoko.

The weather is weird today, which was kind of expected given the unusual weather pattern driving what could be a big snowstorm today and tomorrow.

It's one of those “quiet before the storm” days in Myoko.

Lots of snow, pretty heavy snow but also unconsolidated.
