Now it's the season of American cherries! I bake cakes every this season. Yummy, yummy!

In Japan, there are two kinds of cherries( Japanese and American). Your country have those, too??

I have a definite weak spot for "American Cherries", though the ones sold during the winter that come from Venezuela taste identical to me and I gobble them up just the same.

I don't care much for Japanese Cherries - a little too sour for me.

I like American cherries too. Go well with cheese. I find a nice big chunk of Edam or Gouda goes well with cherries. Very nice. And nutritious too as well as being delicious. Fun for all!

My neighbour brought me round a lovely basket of cherries last night, what a great surprise. Japanese ones I believe, very delicious.

Now I must learn how to make a good cherry pie.
