A guy from my company quit to go work at the ginza store. He said there was a kilometer long line("queue" for you QE folk) of people waiting to get in on opening day. Havent been yet, but from the pictures I've seen, the design of the store looks really nice.

We have a shop up our road that sells all sorts of fruit, not just apples. They have bananas, pears, kaki, peaches, nectarines.... the lot. And decent prices too. The design of the shop is nothing special, but it's easy to find your preferred fruit and they have nice big signs.

AND, there's no big long queues to get in.

It's highly recommended for all your fruit needs. No need to go to one of these new modern specialist shops, oh no...

Just got a mail from .Mac inviting me to come meet the .Mac guys from Cali at the store on Wednesday night. They will give a free game to the first 1000 members in the door with a copy of the mail in hand.

I might just go with my broken latch lid powerbook in hand and get them to fix it for me.

Wise wise people we are.

It appears I have fallen for theri marketing and while I ma in actual fact paying for all the "free" stuff they give me I have been convinced otherwise! Heathens they are! Money hungry b-tards! But alas I need a mail server that it is not free for personal credibility.

Oh that kind of deal is it? You actually get something of value and a bunch of freebies on top. Can't crumble about that.

So you have to add your own "Breakthrough MX penis hormone patch" ads to the bottom of your emails then? Sounds like hard work.

Actually O11 I don't hve to use their stipulated signature at all, but because a web mail doesn't seem like a web mail without a similar one liner I use the signature:

"Get your 14" here girls"

I've been a Yahoo.com guy for a few years now. I paid $19 or something every year for extra mail storage and full send/receive POP access.

The problem is, a number of places I need to send mail to don't permit Yahoo or Hotmail addresses due to the high spam level.

So I had to keep my old GOL account active anyway.

So to use the "free" Yahoo mail, I pay $19.99/yr. for necessary storage memory, and $60/yr. for a GOL Lite account. Oh, and about $450/yr. for cable modem service.

At around $530/yr., that's some free mail service.

Last night a Net newbie at my bro's wine party said, "I'm paying $6.95/mo. for NetZero dialup access, using Outlook Express for my mail..."

I ought to look into that.
