orinoco 0
I am looking for a (good) haggis to buy here in Japan and having real difficulties. Basically I cannot find anywhere that sells it. Does anyone??
scouser 4
Whoah, haggis. Do you like it? I've been to a few speciality food shops around but never seen a haggis I wonder how popular they'd go down in Japan. Good luck.
I'm Sexy 0
What actually is haggis?
jstepp 0
(HAG-ihs) - Haggis is a Scottish dish made from sheep's offal (windpipe, lungs, heart and liver) of the sheep, which is first boiled and then minced. It is then mixed with beef suet and lightly toasted oatmeal. This mixture is placed inside the sheep's stomach, which is sewn closed. The resulting haggis is traditionally cooked by further boiling (for up to three hours). ENJOY!
gamera 0
Hum... sounds hassle to cook.
BagOfCrisps 24
They may sound disgusting, but a good haggis is a real treat. Go up to Scotland, find a real hidden traditional treasure of a place and have a real haggis... yum.
AET 0
That sounds totally gross. I remember I tried one when I was a kid not knowing the above 'ingredients' ( ) and thought it was pretty awful.
Davo 1
I had it once and loved it, not usually and offal fan either. The one I had was very tasty and a spicy number as well.
