This is Michael Winterbottom`s new and contreversial movie, 9 Songs. Described as the most explicit British Film ever made (barring Debbie does Doncaster) for the first ever time it has the two actors actualy having real life sex....err sorry "making love"......on screen. The point being that the story is told through encounters in the bedroom and at concerts rather than the norm, going for dates having an argument then making up type thing and explores whether you can show sex on screen as you can in a book. The soundtrack looks awsome (Super Furry Animals, Primal Scream, Franz Ferdinand, amongst others) but not to sure of the plot. Apparently those wanting to see a cinema screen of porn will still have to travel to Amsterdam as this isn`t close and I qoute.."this isn`t pornographic or even erotic...sex is pretty ludicruos in its full sticky, sweaty, squelchy, reality"!!
