sanjo 2
It's been a rough month and a half here in Niigata, but things seem to be settling down now and so are my nerves and my general feelings of well-being. I'm actually looking forward to getting on the snow now. Something I wasn't even contemplating 4 weeks ago. That makes me happy. I just wanted to share that.

SnowJapan.Com#2 0
Good to hear sanjo. I'm in Niigata and haven't felt anything here for the last 10 days or so. I believe the good people down in Yuzawa haven't felt any shaking for about 2-3 weeks now. I very nearly moved to Nagaoka earlier this year, kinda glad I didn't now. I couldn't imagine multiple shakes on a daily basis for such a long time. Let's hope this is the end of it.
joshnii 2
Lets plan something together sanjo and get out there asap. I vote for somewhere down in Myoko or Arai.
fruitysue 0
My friends in Niigata were a bit shaken up by it - a friend in Nagaoka as well but she was in Niigata on the night of the quake (and her house survived!). Its good to hear that people are feeling a bit better. I think a large part of the horror of these things is psychological (unless of course your house has been destroyed then you have other big problems as well), One of my friends in Niigata had trouble sleeping for about 3 weeks and got quite ill over it all. joshnii 2
Sure was for me. It's hard to explain. You're just 'on edge' almost all the time, expecting more but not knowing when where or how powerful it'll be.
green 0
sanjo - joshnii - just want to say really glad you are pulling through, it must have been a nightmare experience.
Yuki's Passion 1
Maybe you could write a book about your experiences and make lots of money off it and become a ski bum.
