SerreChe 2
I heard of a resort in the Yuzawa area that closed for lack of snow and laid-off all its staff just the day before the big dump... It looks like they will not be opening back despite the now good conditions. That is very unlucky, I can only feel for the people who lost their jobs.
sanjo 2
Yes, that'll be the Naspa resort. They may well be thinking though that even with the new snow a huge amount of people might not take advantage of it and/or the snow will disappear quick. It really is unfortunate timing though! SerreChe 2
Oh Naspa!!! Did not know, really shocking stuff. My better half heard about it on tv but said they did not mention the resort name. That's really too bad...

pie-eater 207
Lousy timing. I presume the new snow wasn't quite expected in such volume? Well, it's good to see them reacting and opening up again.
