BagOfCrisps 24
That is. I really think that products should have much more info re: batteries on them.
thursday 1
I got this from a friend: "Nikon is hard at work on new prime lenses. During 2008 Nikon will have 3 FF cameras on the market: the fulllframe D3, the upcoming fullframe Nikon D300x and the 24 megapixel fullframe flagship Nikon D3x. To complement these cameras Nikon will be launching 3 new fast prime lenses this year: * 35 1.4 * 50 1.4 * 85 1.4 and also a Nikkor 24 1.4"

thursday 1
nice , but you'll be spending over a 1000 Euro on a DX? Guess you won't be going to the D300x.
Kumapix 0
no I won't be going to a d300x which may or may not come out. I need to take photos now, not in 2 years
poach-egg 0
Nice. I'm thinking of getting a D300.
gifugill 0
I used to have a Nikon D80, but am now the proud and excited owner of the D300. Got 4 Nikkor lenses - 18-200, macro, super wide, fisheye
Kumapix 0
which super wide? 12-24?
Kumapix 0
from thom hogan's site: The Buzz Apr 19--Current rumors out of Japan have Nikon introducing the D90, D3x, plus lenses, in the second week of June.
Kumapix 0
there is no need for a d300x d3x is prob a high megapixel camera for studios to compete with canon's high end one
gifugill 0
yes the 12-24, love it
Kumapix 0
what sort of photos do you take? landscapes?
gifugill 0
All sorts though I'd say landscapes are a main one. Love playing about with the macro and fisheye as well.
Kumapix 0
so now you've got the d300, what's next on the shopping list?
gifugill 0
I'm still getting over the shock of this purchase, so I'm afraid there is no shopping list right now. I'm quite well equipped though, don't you reckon?
Kumapix 0
very well equipped. You've got more lenses than Thursday don't you find that with the 18-200 you don't use the other lenses as much as you should?
big-will 7
Another Nikon Club member! Quite popular aren't they. Are their cheaper non-DSLs good as well?
gifugill 0
Yes but you know you want a nice mini-tank DSLR, don't you>?
Kumapix 0
coolpix aren't so good
thursday 1
I'd be more inclined to get a Sony compact. For DSLRs I just love the feel of the D200 though.
gifugill 0
I can understand people not wanting a d200/d300 tank. I'm more than happy to lug the weight of my d300 around though.
