jared 0
If your in Wanaka you have 3 options. Treble cone for terrain, snow park for park or Cardrona for both (but not as good as either)

I'm Sexy 0
Captain Stag are you in New Zealand or still Isawa? I really want go to New Zealand and thinking about it this summer. Problem is money
jared 0
We left Isawa last August and went to NZ and skied there for a season now we are at Whistler. There are lots of Japanese people skiing in Japan. NZ money is getting weaker at the moment so perhaps you dont need as much money as you think.

Problem is money i did a search among travel agencies in NZ, and i found that a 9-day tour, which includes accomodations, shuttle bus, lifts, and rentals are about 80,000 yen...!! however, the problem is the airfare - for july departures from japan; it is about 112,000 yen aboard NZ Air, and for august!?! 212,000 yen... THIS IS WHAT I HATE in JAPAN - August airfares are more than DOUBLE regular PRICES!!!
rach 1
Wow that much I didn't realise. It's more expensive than going to England!
sava 0
Wow, that's incredible! the price goes up for Aus-> Japan for the winter months, but not by that much.
alferg 0
i've heard cadrona is pretty intermediate. if u want some serious NZ action, hit the cantebury region club fields - they are awesome, but the rope-tows are murder... http://www.chillout.co.nz/home.asp
griller 9
Yes summer flights are a complete ripoff. It's worth making changes to your plans to get round them.
