SnowJapan Moderator SnowJapan.Com#4 5 Posted November 4, 2005 SnowJapan Moderator Share Posted November 4, 2005 OK, we've put together an online request form for any eager sticker buyers. The stickers are now in the process of being made and we hope to have them by the end of November. (However, if you definitely plan to get some it would be a big help to us if you fill in the form and get things moving to give us an idea of how many we will be needing!) http://www.snowjapan.com/e/about/sj-stickers.html Many thanks! marnix 0
I don't like sending coins, but 20 sheets are too many. Can't you make something like 7 sheets for 2000. 11 for 3000?

krotch 0
Is it cool if we just put decal letters onto our board saying "www.snowjapan.com" I'm not one for the square sticker. I want just a line along the edge of my board.
marnix 0
Now I'd better order some
bettyx 0
do we pay for postage? are they going to be available in any shops/places? this is kinda silly but they will be waterproof, right? some guy assured me a sticker was waterproof but it bubbled & peeled off my car's rear window in about a week. & what if we just want one?
krotch 0
The postage is the envelope with the 80 yen stamp. They also said the stickers will be waterproof and snowproof. Edit: Oh wait...you didn't click the link and read up did ya? Click the link.
sakebomb 0
bettyx, you just need to send a stamped, self address envelope with your payment. If you just want one give the others to your mates
SnowJapan Moderator SnowJapan.Com#4 5 Posted November 4, 2005 Author SnowJapan Moderator Share Posted November 4, 2005 bettyx Info is here http://www.snowjapan.com/e/about/sj-stickers.html We are assured they will be waterproof and snowproof. They are being made to the same specs as some stickers a few ski resorts here use - and they have the stickers on their patrols skis etc and there doesn't seem to be a problem. They are not super-ultra sticky (so you can never take them off if you want to!) but apparently enough to stick on to skis etc quite happily. As long as when you put them on the surface is clean and dry, they should be ok. Of course there are no guarantees as to how long they will last. But we are hoping that we will all be happy with them. Oh yes - they will only be available from us (not in shops).
SnowJapan Admin SnowJapan#Andrew 6 Posted November 4, 2005 SnowJapan Admin Share Posted November 4, 2005 We just got a mail from someone asking about money. So here is the explanation. We are not doing this to make huge amounts of cash. It is being done primarily because people wanted it. We put some thought into what we considered to be a reasonable price to charge for the stickers taking into account the cost of putting this all together, actually getting them made, etc. It will take quite a lot of people to buy them for us to see any "profit" from this. However, if that does happen, the money will go (a small way) towards paying for all the complex updates we have made to the site for this season, keeping the site going, bandwidth charges, etc..... basically any money will go back into the site. Thanks.

SnowJapan Moderator SnowJapan.Com#4 5 Posted November 5, 2005 Author SnowJapan Moderator Share Posted November 5, 2005 That is correct... no part of the sticker will be transparent. js 0
Yes, I'd order a few sheets - problem is, I don't live in Japan, so would need a cheque or some other form of money with a self-addressed envelope. What's your payment preferences for overseas members?
