USA 0
We're planning a trip to the Nagano region this winter, and wondering whether it's best to fly into Kansai airport or Tokyo. We're not really interested in the city, just want to get out on the slopes. Which would you do? Cheers!
gamera 0
I think Tokyo (Narita) is easier and quicker. You need to take a Narita express train from Narita then Shinkansen Asama for Nagano region. You can take a bus for Hakuba, Shiga, Nozawa from Nagano station.
TheOrange 0
I would think surely Tokyo.

Fattwins 0
nagoya aint a bad option either.
gamera 0
At the Chubu central airport I think at this moment flights available only for/from Detroit if it's from U.S.A.
METAL 0
Where is Chubu central airport, never heard of that one?
mattlucas 0
Just near Nagoya You can get connecting flights from Narrita for pretty cheap as well
daver 0
chubu or centrair isn't a bad option. the connections to nagoya station are pretty decent and from nagoya station you can take a limited express train to matsumoto for 7000yen. it is a little cheaper then the shinkansen and only a bit longer. but last time i checked it was a lot cheaper to fly into narita then into nagoya. yodel 0
I'd say go with Narita as your best option there.
