Martin 0
The top half of Geto was good on Saturday, about 10" of soft snow on the edges of the pistes. Still not enough base to blast through the trees yet though. Eboshi Zao on Sunday was..........a load of B@!!@xs. Ice with rocks poking out on the two or three runs that were open. Packed out with people, and gale force winds. @Glad I didn't go there on Saturday aswell! Should be better on Zao after a good dump of snow. Anyone else hit the slopes last w/e?? Matt 0
Went up to Shiga kogen on sunday. Yakebitayama has two slopes open as does Ichinose and higashitateyama. We weren't expecting much being our first day of the season but we had a great day. The snow was soft and powdery with only a few icy man-made snow patches showing through. we even did a bit of off-piste at Ichinose. Theres about 20-40cm of real snow around which is lying on 50cm of man-made snow on piste. Should be good next weekend if it keeps snowing..
paint_baller 0
went to hakkouda up here in tohoku this weekend. talk about a good time. went all of the way up the gondola and it was deep. went off the trail accidentaly and ended up in powder that came all of the way up to my chest. trees are finally startying to get buried. Ben2 0
I went to Mia Kaida Kogen, very small station near Ontake. Only one slope was opened but I would say that the snow was not too bad for the first time this year. I am looking forward for real Powder.

TLR 0
Snow in Tomamu Hokkaido is deeeeeeeep. Most of the runs should be open by this weekend but I don't suggest going there, it is too flat. Point is that all of Hokkaido is swimming in goods!
