frannyo 2
What does the charge go towards? I can't quie get that..... I pay taxes, right?
gnarly-dude 1
Like the others say, it's hard to understand why participation in a meeting is required to confirm that things will be done in the same way as before. I think some people just enjoy meeting up and this is the formal way to do it. It's their social life.
ILoveZao 8
Well that's it. Some people simply enjoy it and the neighbourhood folk are their friends and their social life. Doesn't mean that they 'need to get a life', it's no less OK than what other folk enjoy doing with their time. Trouble is when people who don't want to take part feel pressure to do so. Of course, that's never going to work well.
JellyBelly 1
It sounds like I have been asked to take part in the local fire drills the week after next. Not sure why I haven't been asked before and why I am being asked now, but I suppose it'll be an experience. Will report on how it goes.
snowdude 44
What does the charge go towards? I can't quie get that..... I pay taxes, right? The charges go towards paying for new lanterns for the local summer festival, or drinks/snacks etc!
