Sanosaka have gone back to paper this year. Their electronic chip thing was the biggest I've ever seen, bigger than a credit card and the same thickness as Goryu's.

I like electronic ones that fit in your mitt best.

I'm genuinely curious why you'd even want to know... Did you forget to buy one of those wallets, or do you just hate electronic tickets? Pro-tip: stick it in your glove :)

Interesting resorts dropping the electronic thing.

Is that because of cost presumably? Presumably running costs themselves would be low but do they need to cough up annual chunks of dough to the company that installs the system or something?

It must have been a fair few years ago. Always been paper everytime ive been there, plus no gates at all. Not even the remnants of a gate system. Maybe iiyamadude has the history on it.

Is the one at Happo the credit card sized one? I seem to remember using one like that somewhere but can't remember exactly where...

Yeah, that's right.

Happo's is credit card sized now, but is thin. The old one was the same square as Goryu or Tsugaike.

Sanosaka's was credit card sized and thick. It wouldn't fit in some pass holders (the old crappy green one from 47 for example) let alone your gloves.
