Tubby Beaver 209
I'm not a fan of the square headed ones (purely for aesthetic reasons of course) but those other two and gorgeous!! What did you tweak between the specs of the first two?
gozaimaas 61
Square nose could be the new sound! Lol The top one is 175 long with 8m sidecut radius. The other is 166 with 14m sidecut radius.
Tubby Beaver 209
any reason you put the bigger sidecut on the shorter board? Would you get the same float on the 166 if it had the shallower radius of the 175? Or do you think it'd affect carving too much? Or none of the above?!
gozaimaas 61
Both those boards I built for friends to the specs they wanted. Obviously the bigger radius gives a wider waist width so you have equal surface area with a shorter total length. I like the long radius for high speed carving

gozaimaas 61
Why not try some skis, gozaimaas? Unless one of my skier friends requested skis I cant see myself building any since I would never use them. Not any time soon anyway.

Tubby Beaver 209
Are they meant to be having problems?
gvm3373 4
Yes they are losing money, ( Parent company Qantas ) many reports in australian media.
Dunga 1
The Qantas group lost $300m in the last half a year. Jetstar itself isn't losing money, it's the domestic and international arms of Qantas.
gozaimaas 61
Jetstar for the first time. My usual qantas flight was priced rediculously this year, they are pushing the japan market to jetstar. I got 40kg checked baggage, 32kg max per bag, unlimited bags. Also 10kg cary on. No problems with jetstar as far as I know, nothing in the news etc.

seemore 66
About time you started riding smaller boards How did the hammerhead go on your trip?
gozaimaas 61
My quiver now ranges from 180 to 153 lol. Variety is good :-) All the boards I built sucked due to the long radius sidecuts and wide waste widths. I learned a lot from it though. Send me an email when you get a chance seemore.
