pie-eater 207
Not City, I reckon.

grungy-gonads 54
Brilliant! So very pleased for Wigan. And they didn't fluke it either - they were the better team! Marvellous.

pie-eater 207
Now, if we can please play as good and stay up in the PL, that would be nice. Got headache, back to bed.
big-will 7
Very well done Wigan!
big-will 7
I see Scholesy has retired (again) Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has announced his retirement for a second time. The 38-year-old first ended his career at the end of the 2010-11 season but returned to the side in January 2012 after admitting he missed playing. Scholes signed a one-year deal last May and manager Sir Alex Ferguson expected this would be his final season.
brit-gob 9
Rooney not even on the bench today.
grungy-gonads 54
That's a statement from Sir Fergie. I thought Rooney would play whether we were selling (shop front) or not. Hahah wrong.
grungy-gonads 54
Looks like Mancini is out of City too.
pie-eater 207
He sure doesn't shy away does he!
pie-eater 207
A reason to love Paul Scholes, unconditionally, even if you support Manchester City or Liverpool. He's being interviewed by his former team-mate Gary Neville on Sky. Q: Are you on Twitter or Facebook? A: No. What's the point in telling people what you're doing? Classic Scholesy. grungy-gonads 54
Scholes is just brilliant. I love the man. I'm going to well up tonight, I can tell.
big-will 7
Tough on Mancini perhaps. Just goes to show even more how incredible 27 years is... No Wazza! See you
pie-eater 207
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini 'to be sacked this week' and could be gone inside 48 hours
pie-eater 207
After the elation of last night, 'other results' aren't going Wigans way tonight. Fair dues to those who got their results today. Looks like its going to be us or Sunderland going down, with them in the better position of course. All over if we don't beat Arse on Tuesday.
NoFakie 45
Well by some minor miracle, and two assists from two-time CL winner Jose Bosingwa, it won't be Newcastle. What a shit season though. Congratulations to Wigan! One more trophy for Martinez than David Moyes I feel a bit sorry for Mancini, but I think he's too defensive. If getting Rodwell and Sinclair and not RVP was someone else's idea, then he's genuinely unlucky. Whatever happens, he was a huge step up from Mark Hughes, who set Citeh back at least three years and has been thoroughly discredited now at QPR. No doubt he'll still walk into a job as a pundit. brit-gob 9
Well done Fergie, United... and Newcastle! Norwich really pulled their socks up too didn't they. Can't think of anyone who would prefer Sunderland up over Wigan. Tough job though.
pie-eater 207
Love the Fergibomb he planted about Rooney.
scouser 4
Crafty old git isn't he. Can't see them selling Rooney to Chelsea or City.
BagOfCrisps 24
Scholes is brilliant isn't he. In the post match interview as well. No drama just 'it was good we could win it' kind of thing. Totally down to earth shy lad.
