The conical-looking mountain in the picture I posted as a hint is Nantai-san, on the edge of Lake Chuzenji -- more or less looking in the opposite direction of the photo that snowjunky started this thread with. The photo of the ski area was taken from a turn-out on Route 120, which goes over the Konsei Pass. The last photo was taken from just over the Gunma side of the pass. So take it away, ger! (That took barely 24 hours to be solved -- will have to try to come up with something more challenging next time.) Link to post Share on other sites
