Tsugaike Kogen

That it is. Named after (and co-developed by the owners of) Hunter Mountain ski area in New York, USA.   Over to you, Muikabochi.

It is indeed the top and somewhat hairy* lift at Yuzawa Kogen.

A wonderful place to get shots of Yuzawa in clear weather, as seen here

(* Not as hairy as the Mt Granview hairy lifts, which actually are... hairy!)

Huh,

Somebody gave the answer Yuzawa Koken yesterday but you said incorrect??

Just curious

If it's not your cheese, why have you blocked out wife and boy in japan? :friend:

Just to stop anyone from trying to use cheating methods. ;)

I find using screen clips from youtube videos is effective for that.

Anyway, less chat more guessing. :D

MO I tried doing that but could not - How do you do it?

1) Find a youtube video covering the ski area of interest, and freeze it wherever desired.

2) Use a screen-grabbing tool (like the Windows Snipping Tool, or equivalent for Linux or Mac), and just select the rectangle on your screen where the stopped video is being displayed.

3) Save the clipped image to a file.

4) For thoroughness, make sure that Google Image search cannot find a match for the image file on the web: Go to images.google.co.jp, click on the camera icon on the right-hand side of the search box, and use the "upload image" from the requestor that pops up to have Google Images try to look for matches on the web. If none found, then:

5) Upload to SnowJapan, and stump your friends.
