klingon 10
A bit of 'theming' wouldn't go amiss with some of their rides. Like that bit before the 90' ascent it's just like an empty room. Get some atmosphere going too!
big-will 7
It's the ride that matters but yeah totally no themeing at all.
Tubby Beaver 209
Thats what I like best about FujiQ, no bullshit themes......just good rides.Leave the themes for Disney and real rides for FujiQ
klingon 10
Theming does not have to be bullshit or Disney. It certainly does not, by default, take anything awauy from around. It can enhance an experience. A good example - Nemesis at Alton Towers. The rides at FujiQ are just plonked there, on level concrete.
pie-eater 207
Nemesis. Great ride. If you want to talk juddery and headache-inducing.. the original Corkscrew

Good rides with a bit of thought put into them equal better rides. Take the example of Nemesis.... it would not be the ride it is if it were simply plonked down on the level. Tubby Beaver 209
Sadly I haven't ridden Nemesis, it does look awesome though. I love Alton Towers but haven't been there in so long.
scouser 4
Used to love Alton Towers but haven't been for since before Air. Oblivion was the latest new one I went on. This Takabisha makes that seem like a joke. Nemesis is still supposed to be a top ride though.
Hokkaidough 4
Not a whole lot of white-knuckle rides going on up in Hokkaido. Would love to check that place out though looks great.
pie-eater 207
I think Alton is more of a family day out than a FujiQ kind of terror rides galore now. Other than Nemesis. What's it got? Oblivion - one drop. Air - hmmm. Rita - hmm. That new 13 ride. They all seem fairly tame compared to what some places do.
Thundercat 60
Fuji-Q also has the Pizza La spinning puke machine... just goes round and round in circles while launching you into the sky... Also, the haunted house there is pretty dope if you're into hanging out with a bunch of people shitting their pants in fear!
grungy-gonads 54
Do you get free pizza?
iiyamadude 6
That would scare me silly, I didn't even like Pirate Ships! Coasters are ok but not good at that kind of movement.
muikabochi 208
Have some pizza after that!
pie-eater 207
That looks awesome.

Tubby Beaver 209
I passed it the other week, it looks awesome. I've been down to FujiQ a number of times but not with the new ride. Check out eki-net to get train and park entry.....should get deals for about 6-7k
muikabochi 208
Let me know when, I might be going around that time.
@tokyo 14
Not me but a friend went a week or two back, said it was awesome. Had to wait for the big rides but not enough to spoil the day.
big-will 7
Need to know of a day mid-week when there aren't tons of school trips there. Would be amazing going on a day that was quiet.
ShinyDiscoBall 2
Went. Great ride. In fact Fujikyu has a collection of awesome rides. Fujiyama is still a great coaster.
