Glen Falting 0
Myoko Suginohara on Sat and Arai on Sun. Crap weather,, but heaps of fresh snow and no too many people. Very impressed by the set up a Arai and the off piste policy - really a very good idea having designated zones.
enderzero 0
Snow in Niseko was great...but the damn wind was blowing too hard for all mountian access. Oh well... Still had an awesome time because of the great company and new, innovative ways to have fun.
snowboard_freak 0
Yo ender! I was reading the Niseko Now reports and the Snowave report and was thinking of you guys up there! Sam and I had some terrible weather but not for 5 days straight!!! But at least you got a bit of snow!!
MistaSparkle 0
Regardless of the crap conditions and limited running lifts up at Niseko, had a blast with great company, and the guys up at Hirafu Chalet were super cool as always. We managed to find a few nice stashes here and there, and while it still remains in the underground.... "viva la revolucion"!
oddis10 0
I went to habaku47(sp) where it was snowing lightly all weekend. Pretty much soft groomers with knee plus in the seldom ridin trees, from what I could see (due to a low celing) this place has a great potential for inbound terrain. The only thing holding most who want to ride it back, was probably the warnings on the gondala (E&J or mabey it was just E) and the cameras on the lift poles facing the trees... Other than crap rental equipment it was a great weekend.
damian 0
niseko now! has not been updated.... probably 'cause it was so good after 4 days of so bad and the authors have been neck deep on the summit all day.
iggy 0
Niseko rocks, the potential there is awesome, even though the weekend wasn't the best. Hakkoda should be the mack daddy this weekend, I'm totally stoked!!
Fattwins 0
Skied light and deep pow around the takasu area with a big crew.
