Thundercat 60
I should probably already know this by my memory sometimes works against me. Does anyone know if there are shuttle buses between Goryu and Echoland at night? Are there any alternatives to taking a taxi after 7-8pm ~ish? Cheers
NoFakie 45
Yes, its called the "genki-go".

Thundercat 60
Thanks guys! Really appreciate the info and goes to show why this site is so helpful! Another question that may not be answerable... how much do you think a taxi would be between the two areas?
stemik 14
2000yen.
best skier in hakuba 5
Too much! About 2000 yen or thereabouts.....
best skier in hakuba 5
Of course, if you were gnarly enough, you would hike the mountain side and then find a slide back down to the Echoland area.

stemik 14
And a swim across the river!
best skier in hakuba 5
Well yes though I would have hoped that a hike deep enough into the mountains might mean there was no need for the swim.
RobBright 35
And if it is bottomless, you could board it.
Thundercat 60
If I were bottomless or the river? If the snow were bottomless I might go for it Cheers for the info!
Nisoko 6
You'd think that the snow would completely cover the river and make it a non-river for 7 months of the year.

Thundercat 60
First day in Hakuba today was a great way to start the season. Mostly stayed on piste which is a little unusual for me but I was able to poach a little fresh stuff off to the sides. It was a beautiful day so I snapped loads of pics but will post them another time when I'm not so drained of energy!
