NoFakie 45
It looks like the Euro is going to test our German friends' rationality to the limit!

Jynxx 4
Then you should live here and live here like sheep ... It´s a good place to live by the rules "they" set, don´t have to make decisions, don´t have to question things and pretend you have high social standards and "holocaust guilt" as a national identity. I hate this place. It makes you retard. The TV sucks. I count about 20 - 25 ads in a 10-15 min ad break and they have to roll back the program to start again. The language makes you retarded , too IMHO. Most Euro language is content to have masculine and feminine word forms. The German have 3, and extra Neutral. Now, a kid can study and spend energy learning new and better things than learning what is der, die, das ... They seem to prefer adding words and making it longer, or changing pre-post positions and changing meanings. I´d rather have a different word than that. The meaning change is unrelated. And the word can only be guessed by its context. People talk in "phrases" TBH, I like the German written form. I actually love it. It was a long time dream to read Hesse and now I am ready. The middle age German mysic stuff is now there for me, too .. so I can´t really complain about the language. I just don´t have the feeling for German. A nation that encourages teenage drinking (12 to buy beer) and smoking ciggies, and prevents you from taking care of your own health by putting natural remedy medicine (at required potency) into pharmacies and charging 3 times of the price compared to other civilised countries. The place is still ruled by the Nazi drug companies that got split up at the end of WW2. They are trying to internationally controll all alternative medicine (includiing your average Vitamine tablets) to be sold only by licenced pharmacies. There is no consumer protection here. You have to pay money to have your case heard. If you want to have your government decision revewed, you have to pay. This is a country that makes money from your misfortune, a system that makes money from the poor that calls itself socialist. I´m glad I am an Aussie.

Tubby Beaver 209
Jynnx, I could quite easily turn your argument around and substitute "JAPAN" for "GERMANY".... Then you should live here and live here like sheep ...It´s a good place to live by the rules "they" set, don´t have to make decisions, don´t have to question things and pretend you have high social standards ho ho ho ho I hate this place. It makes you retard. The TV sucks....probably the worst tv programmes ever Most Euro language is content to have masculine and feminine word forms. The German have 3, and extra Neutral. Now, a kid can study and spend energy learning new and better things than learning what is der, die, das ... most languages use Roman letters, now a kid can study and spend energy learning new and better things than learning a bunch of squiggles and hieroglyphs They seem to prefer adding words and making it longer, or changing pre-post positions and changing meanings use words out of context for cute advertising, spelling is terrible when using foreign words A nation that encourages teenage drinking (12 to buy beer) and smoking ciggies Japan has probably the most lax enforcement of alcohol control, I7ve never ever seen anyone in an izakaya being challenged over their age despite their cherubic faces and wispy facial hair The place is still ruled by the Nazi drug companies that got split up at the end of WW2. They are trying to internationally controll all alternative medicine (includiing your average Vitamine tablets) to be sold only by licenced pharmacies. Japan is controlled by HUGE companies such as Mitsubishi, Sony etc etc and they have their fingers everywhere, many of these same companies have very dodgy war time pasts as well BUT inspite of all this I like it here....why do u live in a place you loathe? pie-eater 207
I´m glad I am an Aussie. Hold on a sec, weren't you Japanese in another thread just recently? I like Italia. Jynxx 4
Yeah, Tubby you are not wrong there ... That´s why I had wanted to live and l have lived in Australia for most of my past. I guess it´s the surburbian mentality that I can´t handle. I feel I´m back at my old (parents) house in Tokyo. But then again, I´d rather live in Germany or Japan than living in England, that´s for sure.

pie-eater 207
But then again, I´d rather live in Germany or Japan than living in England, that´s for sure. I told my mates, my mum, gran and the Chief Pie-Maker at the local Pie Shoppe back home. All of them, without exception, were totally gutted on hearing this news.
