Maybe not Niseko quality, but damn decent all the same for the most part. Lots of varied resorts within 20 minutes of the base. Sounds like a very viable choice to me. Dominique 0 Posted January 13, 2011 Share Posted January 13, 2011 Hey Thusrsday, This will be our 4th trip to Japan, 2 to Hokkaido, last year to Hakuba and Myoko Kogen. This year start in Yuzawa for 4 days then a week in each Hakuba and Myoko again. Decided to start at Yuzawa as it sounded interesting,was not offered by any Australian snow tour company and all the reasons muikabochi mentioned. Very much looking forward to exploring an area during our brief stay and as we have booked everything ourselves, will give me confidence for next trip to head further away from the main Australian tour areas.
