nippontiger 8
Has there been a worse start to the season in recent years? I remember a couple of years ago, there wasn't a lot of snow near Xmas, but I thought there was an early dump that year? Was really hoping to get out this weekend, but it just doesn't seem worth it with even Kagura struggling to fully open.
muikabochi 208
Kagura is nowhere near fully open. So that I suppose is struggling yes! Looks like it might be another week at least before we can expect much.

grungy-gonads 54
I can't remember which year it was and can't be bothered to check the reports - someone do that will you - but I'm pretty sure there was one not so long ago when Christmas was well dodgy and it only really dumped proper around NYE. nippontiger 8
Yeah, think it was maybe two or three years ago. I went to Hakuba few days before NYE - no snow in the village and raining, but when I left 3 days later, it was something like a meter deep!
Go Native 70
The recent snow in Niseko has put us up close to what we would normally expect around this time of year.
